For quite some time now I have been quietly reaching out to other rescues asking for help to transfer the remaining dogs to another entity in order to close K-9 Elite Rescue. So far, none have come forward. Unfortunately, this has delayed the closure of the rescue far beyond when it should have been closed and now things are quite urgent.
Rescuing dogs takes more than just a calling to do good – it also requires a lot of time, a lot of money, a lot of teamwork, a lot of dedication, a lot of patience, a lot of planning and a lot of organization. Unfortunately, once things get out of balance it gets more and more difficult to right the ship.
However, that dogs in the rescue’s care shouldn’t have to be stuck in a bad situation as a result of the human imbalance. So, while K-9 Elite Rescue is definitely closing, and that closure date is imminent, I am still making this one last plea asking for help from two or more rescues to allow the remaining dogs to be transferred. If anyone knows anyone who can assist with this, please have them contact me ASAP at dan@k-9elite.dog as I urgently need to wrap things up in a manner that preserves the lives that have been promised a chance at life.
